napocut Reveals Strategy to Build Consumer Trust at TERANG with the Ministry of Trade

napocut Ungkap Strategi Bangun Kepercayaan Konsumen di TERANG Bersama Kemendag

On Thursday, September 11, 2025, Zada Amanda, Founder and Chief Production Officer of napocut, a pioneering square hijab brand that has been accompanying Indonesian Muslim women for 20 years, attended the workshop TERANG: Building Transparency and Trust between Business Actors and Consumers, which was held at the Ministry of Trade Auditorium in Jakarta.

This event was organized by the Ministry of Trade in collaboration with Lazada Indonesia. More than 200 business owners from various sectors attended, demonstrating great enthusiasm for creating a healthy, fair trade ecosystem and boosting the role of MSMEs in the digital era.

During the forum, Zada Amanda had the opportunity to share napocut's experience in maintaining transparency while building a trusting relationship with its consumers, who are affectionately known as nicePeople.

Listening to Customers and Providing the Right Solutions

According to Zada Amanda, the first step napocut always takes is to listen to consumers with full attention, as the majority of napocut's customers are women, accounting for 85 to 90 percent of the total customer base.

"Usually, the first thing we do is listen. After that, we cross-check to identify the root cause of the issue—whether it stems from our internal processes, the customer, or perhaps external factors. From there, we can provide a solution that is both fast and accurate," explained Zada Amanda.

She added that while speed is important, accuracy is equally vital to avoid creating new problems. Therefore, napocut always strives to present solutions that truly address the core of the problem so that customers feel safe and confident.

Product Transparency That Makes Consumers Comfortable

Transparency is also one of the core values upheld by napocut, clearly demonstrated through the hang tag attached to every product.

The napocut hang tag contains more than just a label; it provides comprehensive information ranging from care instruction barcodes, product names, color names, and prices to color codes. Such details make consumers feel more at ease because they know exactly what they are purchasing.

For napocut, this simple transparency is a vital foundation for building long-term relationships with consumers.

MSMEs Need the Courage to Maximize Digital Potential

Beyond sharing napocut's experiences, Zada Amanda also emphasized the importance of MSMEs having the courage to seize digital opportunities. napocut, known primarily for its hijab products, has begun innovating by introducing a new line.

"We noticed a need from Muslim women who want to exercise but haven't found suitable sportswear. From there, we launched EasyOn, a sportswear collection designed to support active Muslim women. It turns out this line has also been well-received by non-hijab-wearing women," Zada Amanda revealed.

The launch of EasyOn is also tied to the growing healthy lifestyle trend in society. As more people lead active lives, the demand for sportswear that is comfortable, practical, and aligned with personal values continues to rise, which napocut views as an opportunity for market expansion.

This step proves that MSMEs can achieve greater growth when they dare to identify opportunities, innovate, and meet the evolving needs of the public.

Optimism in Building a Healthy Trade Ecosystem

napocut's participation in the TERANG event serves as a reminder that consumer trust can only be built through consistency—from listening to customer complaints and providing the right solutions to ensuring transparency and daring to innovate according to market needs.

With a spirit of collaboration and openness, napocut is optimistic about continuing to provide products that are not only functional but also bring comfort to every nicePeople.
