On Thursday, April 16, 2026, napocut had the opportunity to collaborate with the Teman Hebat Berkarya Foundation. This activity combined environmental awareness with tangible support for the empowerment of our friends with disabilities.
The event opened with a warm welcome from Dina Fadia, Chief Marketing Officer of napocut, who shared that this collaboration is a step for us to be more caring toward those around us. The atmosphere became even more inspiring when Aisyah Winna, founder of Teman Hebat Berkarya, began sharing her story.
Listening to her, we were reminded once again that behind every limitation, there is always extraordinary talent that only needs space to continue growing.
The Story Behind Teman Hebat Berkarya

It all started from Aisyah Winna’s experience while she was a teacher at a special needs school (SLB). She often met parents who were anxious about their children's future after graduation. This concern is what ultimately gave birth to a space for friends with disabilities to be economically independent and acquire skills.
Now, after 6 years, the community has transformed into a foundation that accommodates various talents without coercion—ranging from those who are experts in handicrafts to personal development through other activities like fashion shows.
#TeamNAPOCUT Sharpens Creativity through a Patchwork Workshop

Through the "Bersi Bersi Lemari" (Closet Decluttering) program from Teman Hebat Berkarya, the entire #TeamNAPOCUT participated in decluttering wearable used clothing. These clothes were collected to be repurposed into new, more useful items in the right hands.

The excitement continued as some of us sat in a circle to learn how to make keychains from fabric scraps. Here, we truly became the students. With very diligent and patient hands, our friends with disabilities guided us in combining remnants from production into beautiful accessories. This moment of weaving together served as a reminder that even small things like fabric scraps can be transformed into valuable works of art.
After the workshop, other members of #TeamNAPOCUT gathered downstairs to visit the booth opened by Teman Hebat Berkarya. While during the workshop we only focused on learning to make one type of accessory, the selection here turned out to be far more diverse and captivating.

There were so many products on display, ranging from scrunchies, tumbler holders, pouches, and bags, to clothes and floor mats with truly neat weaving. Seeing their diverse creations in person made us even more amazed by the talents of our friends with disabilities.
The bazaar area became increasingly lively as many of us were busy choosing our favorite products to take home. We bought their products not just as a form of support, but because of their high quality and functionality for daily use.
Meeting New Perspectives through Handicrafts
This collaboration was a valuable moment for napocut to learn about the meaning of mutual appreciation. Witnessing the spirit and great potential of our friends with disabilities, we returned home with a new perspective: that everyone has their own unique way of creating something great.
Thank you very much to all the caregivers and our friends with disabilities from the Teman Hebat Berkarya Foundation for sharing their knowledge and inspiration today. Hopefully, this small step through the utilization of pre-loved clothing can continue to bring sustainable benefits to us all.
