Plain Paris is back with a brand-new color collection in collaboration with Beauty Content Creator, Kiara Leswara. The launch of this Napocut x Kiara Leswara collaboration took place on Wednesday (June 12) at Café Tulum, Jakarta. The event, titled "A Colorful Day with Kiara Leswara," served as a special moment to introduce ten Plain Paris colors curated by Kiara.
The event began with the screening of the Napocut and Kiara Leswara collaboration video campaign. In it, Kiara conveyed the message that practicing a 1% better habit every day can bring about life changes. This also serves as the core concept of the collaboration, themed 1% More Better Everyday and Romanticizing Life.
Following this was an introduction to Dina Fadia, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Napocut, and Kiara Leswara through a fun rapid question segment to get to know them better. Only then did Dina Fadia share the story of how Napocut ultimately came to partner with Kiara Leswara for the latest Plain Paris collection.
“Actually, this is already our second collaboration with Kiara. We had previously collaborated in 2021. It was such a blessing because even in pandemic conditions, the response and reaction from nicePeople were incredibly positive. So, bismillah, we invited Kiara to collaborate again in 2024, of course with a new concept. We wanted to highlight Kiara’s character, which is smart, humble, and someone who has many interests and contributes positively to her surroundings. We poured that into colors that represent Kiara,” explained Dina.
Kiara Leswara also shared her reasons for being interested in collaborating with Napocut again. “The reason is as simple as feeling pretty when I wear Napocut. I feel confident; I feel like myself, but at the same time, the fabric works well for formal attire—it remains neat. You can look stunning but still feel confident. That’s the most important thing; I feel comfortable and pretty when I wear Napocut.”
At this event, Napocut and Kiara Leswara introduced ten latest Plain Paris colors. All the hijabs have a soft, characterful nuance. There are neutral colors as well as pastels suitable for everyday wear. The color options vary from blue, pink, and yellow to gray and brown.
Kiara mentioned that she has been using Napocut products since she was in school. Throughout her journey of wearing a hijab, many important moments have been passed with Napocut hijabs. Therefore, she chose ten new Plain Paris colors that can be worn for various occasions.
“So, there is actually a story behind the colors. Why these ten colors? Because I truly feel like we need a specific hijab color for every moment in our lives, whether it’s a big or small moment,” added Kiara.
Beyond just colors, Napocut also has a new hijab texture for this Plain Paris collaboration collection. Dina Fadia explained that there is an upgraded version of Plain Paris, which is more opaque, has a denser fabric weave, stays in place better, and is proven to be more wind-resistant. However, the newest version of the Plain Paris square hijab still uses the original Japanese material—lightweight, easy to style, and pilling-resistant. Everything has gone through a long process to maintain the hijab’s quality so it lasts forever.

The launch event was also enlivened by a cake decorating workshop with about 50 invited guests. Here, KOLs and nicePeople were invited to decorate cakes from Ann’s Bakehouse & Creamery, a nod to Kiara’s hobby of baking, as she once sold cupcakes in high school. The top three decorations received prizes for Best Cake. In addition, there was also a Kahoot quiz with Instaperfect product prizes, featuring questions about Napocut and Kiara Leswara.
The entire “A Colorful Day with Kiara Leswara” event was definitely exciting! So, look forward to other events with Napocut, nicePeople.
